State Criminal Searches
USIS provides criminal history reports from all states where they are available (44 states + DC). The USIS team of experienced investigators researches and reports back to Clients the most accurate records in the consumer reporting industry.
Ordering Requirements
- Applicant’s first name, middle name or initial, last name
- Applicant’s SSN
- Alias names if USIS is to conduct search on other names used (note: this is a separate search)
- Jurisdictions to search and search type
County Criminal Searches
USIS provides criminal history reports from all U.S. counties. The USIS team of experienced investigators researches and reports back to Clients the most accurate records in consumer report industry. Such reports will include the following information:
- Felony convictions for seven (7) years, longer if readily available on court index
- Misdemeanor convictions for last seven (7) years when housed at same court as the Felony convictions
- Non-convictions reported for seven (7) years or less depending on state law
- USIS will return name match only results (where date of birth and SSN are not on the court records)
