USIS’ investigations team improves efficiency with new processFALLS CHURCH, Va., April 25, 2007 – USIS, the leading provider of background investigations to the federal government that has more investigators in the field than any other company in North America, has developed a new tool to further improve the efficiency of U.S. government background investigations work performed by the business’s Investigative Services Division (ISD). The Case Tracking Tool (CTT) is a home grown initiative that helps ISD close cases at a faster rate and improve the quality of work because the case is “more visible” to managers throughout the investigative process. The CTT, which was initially rolled out earlier this year, is now in its third phase. This phase of the CTT provides more information about case re-opens, case priorities, and case assignments. A very important aspect of the third phase of CTT is that communications between ISD Quality Review personnel and investigators and managers in the field is greatly improved. Quality Review employees can now provide direct feedback on an investigator’s Report of Investigation through a feedback form. Another new component of the CTT is that an alert signals when a subject interview report has been transmitted. This alert helps speed the work and case review process. Media Contact # # # |
