The product is offered by USIS’s commercial services business based in Tulsa, Okla. "Guardian protects against missing critical information, since it is a nationwide search of 47 state registries, plus Washington, D.C.," said Kyle Jacobsen, associate product manager for USIS's Commercial Services business. "Because it is not a database search, employers can be assured they are receiving the most up to date and comprehensive information available." The most comprehensive solution in pre-employment screening is to combine the Guardian product with additional background screening services offered by USIS's Commercial Services business. USIS provides criminal records searches, credit reports, motor vehicle reports, employment and education verifications, drug testing, and other products which assist more than 33,000 customers across the U.S. in the aviation, trucking, retail, healthcare, insurance, and gaming industries.
