SUBJECT: Professional Services Division Lands Significant Immigration Background Check Award.

USIS Professional Services Division (PSD) recently was awarded the first call on a major blanket purchase agreement with US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), part of the Department of Homeland Security, to support its Alien Background Check program. In addition to providing upfront screening of immigrant benefit claims, it also includes assisting in identifying threats and fraud.

This first call is a six month pilot program designed to establish policies and best practices and solidify processes and procedures nationwide, and provides the opportunity for options for additional services going forward. This first call has positioned PSD as the front runner for future task orders under this agreement.
