SUBJECT: Falls Church-based USIS promotes IT leader to focus on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, business systems, security

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 25, 2006 - USIS, a worldwide provider of screening and security services to corporate and government clients and the largest supplier of security investigations to the U.S. government, has named Catherine DeLeonardis to the newly created position of director of information security and business systems. In this role, DeLeonardis will lead all Sarbanes-Oxley Act IT compliance programs and USIS information security projects. She will continue to lead the business information systems group and oversee its associated IT projects.

DeLeonardis, who joined USIS in May 2005 as director of business information systems, came to the company from Philips Medical Systems where she worked on various IT programs including master data management, business systems, large-scale IT implementations, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance. She will report to James Choi, vice president and chief technology and information officer.
