Special Investigations Unit takes on the Law… and the Law won

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Sept. 19, 2007 – The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of USIS, which specializes in providing a wide variety of background investigations targeted at the First Responder market, recently took on the law… and the law won because SIU unveiled new product offerings at the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) national conference that was recently held in Louisville, Ky.

The SIU business of USIS is dedicated to providing a total solution for the first responder community to support their on-boarding process of new employees. SIU specializes in a providing a wide variety of background investigations, ranging from pre-employment screening to full field background investigations. “We were on the road at the FOP national conference in Louisville to show top law enforcement representatives our product offerings that ensure they are hiring the candidate that they think they are hiring,” said Jill Schweitzer, SIU’s senior marketing manager. “Our Louisville slugger replicas were a big hit with the conference attendees, but more importantly the law enforcement professionals that came to our booth shared the same enthusiasm for our background investigations products.” As the subject matter experts in background investigations, with the largest team of field investigators in North America, USIS understands the importance of providing quality investigations in a timely manner.
