SIS awarded $21 million Department of Homeland Security contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 23, 2007 – USIS, a global supplier of cleared personnel supporting critical U.S. government programs, the largest provider of security investigations for the federal government, and a leading provider of commercial employment screening and drug testing services, has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) to provide analytical support for DRO’s Fugitive Operations Support Center.

The contract has a one year base and four option years for a potential value of $21 million. USIS has teamed up with Acxiom and Metastorm to support DRO’s mission to identify over 550,000 fugitive aliens residing in the United States. The USIS Team will provide an end-to-end solution comprised of experienced analysts, the most comprehensive set of commercial data available in the industry and leading edge analytics and case management tools.

The contract is managed by USIS’ Professional Services Division, which provides national security training and staffing programs, facilities surveillance, operational support, and other security and staffing services to the federal government under more than 70 contracts.
