Manager joins USIS corporate communication team
FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 11, 2008 - US Investigations Services, Inc. (USIS), a leading provider of employment screening solutions and the largest provider of security investigations for the federal government, has appointed Wendy Wallace as senior manager of corporate communication.
Wallace will report to Vice President of Corporate Communication Michael John and will work out of the Falls Church, Va., headquarters. “Wendy will lead USIS’ overall internal communication functions, assisting corporate and divisional units at all levels in their internal communication planning and implementation,” said John.
Wallace comes from Booz Allen Hamilton where she was a senior consultant. She has extensive experience in developing, designing, and writing communication products ranging from corporate newsletters, marketing collateral, and congressional briefing materials to web site content, contract proposals and RFP compliance reports, and Lean Six Sigma training materials.
Prior to her work at Booz Allen Hamilton, Wallace was a senior technical writer for Enherent (formerly Dynax Solutions), a senior marketing proposal writer and then a communications manager for ACS State and Local Solutions (formerly Lockheed Martin IMS), and a senior communications specialist with FedEx.
Wallace holds a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in professional and technical writing from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in journalism from Christian Brothers University.
