Two USIS employees strategically placed to seek out new business prospects

FALLS CHURCH, Va. April 22, 2008 – US Investigations Services, Inc. (USIS), a leading provider of pre-employment screening solutions and the largest provider of security investigations for the federal government, has made key personnel appointments designed to strengthen the business and drive growth.

  • Damon Hudson has moved into a newly-created position as a business development director in the Investigative Services Division (ISD). He will report to ISD vice president, business development Rob Mariani and will continue working from the USIS Fairfax, Va. office. Hudson will concentrate on developing new business opportunities in the federal market for ISD with primary responsibility for federal customers. He previously directed the division’s Virginia Business Unit.
  • Brian Jones has been named to the USIS corporate development team as manager, government affairs and corporate development. Jones will report to director of corporate development Dan Shoemaker and will work out of USIS’ Falls Church headquarters. Jones brings to the job knowledge of national security policy and the legislative process as well as strong skills in business development. He began at USIS as a proposal coordinator/manager and became a business development manager in the National Security Division.

Because of their unique combination of skills and contacts, inside and outside of USIS, both are expected to play a significant role in matching USIS’ full range of services and solutions with government and commercial customer needs.
