USIS invites its trucking, retail, and insurance customers to “talk shop”

FALLS CHURCH, Va., March 19, 2008 - USIS, a national leader in pre-employment screening, drug testing, insurance services, and the largest provider of security investigations to the U.S. government, keeps its business finger on the pulse of its customers. Customer advisory meetings are critical parts of the company’s hearing from the customer efforts that help USIS provide better services.

The USIS Commercial Services Division (CSD) held back-to-back customer advisory meetings February 17 to 23 in Phoenix, Ariz. The first, a DAC advisory board meeting, brought together 30 transportation customers from 25 companies. The second, a retail advisory board meeting, brought in 15 professionals from nine businesses.

Discussions revolved around new products and services, productivity initiatives, quality assurance programs, and topics of general interest to the specific industries.

Explore Information Services, a USIS company based in Eagan, Minn., just completed its 12th annual customer advisory meeting. With major insurance industry clients in attendance, topics of discussion included overall industry updates and information about Explore’s product and business development efforts. As a premier provider of data-based insurance services, Explore offers leading edge information solutions designed to meet the unique needs of the insurance marketplace.

“Explore’s advisory board meetings have been instrumental in building strong customer relations and providing guidance for future product development,” says Michele Cook, Explore Product Manager. “The meetings are a key differentiator for Explore and we will continue to hold these meetings on an annual basis.”
