USIS has a new "public face" greeting customers on the Web
FALLS CHURCH, Va., Feb. 8, 2008 – US Investigations Services, Inc. (USIS), a leading provider of pre-employment screening solutions and the largest provider of security investigations for the federal government, has redesigned its corporate Web site to better serve the needs of visitors looking for information about the company. The Web site address remains www.USIS.com and the site possesses new features describing company products and services, easier navigation, and an improved search function.
CEO Randy Dobbs said the site should drive more marketplace awareness of the USIS
brand. "We wanted to focus on design and functionality ideas that would give
us a site that better represents the company as a whole and provides new opportunities
to showcase equally our government and commercial services,” he said. “We
believe the new site accomplishes this and that it will better support the sales
and marketing initiatives of our three businesses.”
More than 30 employees, supported by the USIS Information Technology department,
led by Chief Technology and Information Officer James Choi, worked on the external
site over a period of six months, upgrading the graphics and look, internal architecture
and search functions, and overall operability.
Some of the improvements include:
- An easy-to-read common template design that is also simple to navigate.
- A new index system that highlights new product and service offerings.
- A logical menu structure making it easier to find items “within two clicks.”
