Phillip C. McVey

President, Commercial Services Division (CSD)

Mr. Phil McVey became President of CSD in February 2008. Before coming to USIS, he served as Vice President, Business Operations, of Tyco International’s ADT Security Services, Inc. where he helped build ADT Security Services’ performance and create a strong reputation for the business as the leader in security solutions.

Prior to 2006, Mr. McVey served in positions of increasing scope and responsibility for Tyco International, Inc., including Southeastern Region Vice President. Specifically, Mr. McVey was a part of Tyco Fire and Security, a segment of Tyco considered a leading worldwide provider of security and life safety solutions with annual revenues of $12 billion. He has significant domestic and international experience which includes driving internal process improvements that increased business profitability, developing strategies that created customer-focused business solutions, and leading teams that created new opportunities in challenging markets.

Mr. McVey served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1990. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computational and applied mathematics from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Va., and his MBA from The New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, N.Y.
