Vice President and General Counsel

Keith R. Simmons is Vice President and General Counsel for US Investigations Services, Inc. and its subsidiaries (USIS). Mr. Simmons is responsible for providing legal services and directing regulatory compliance for USIS and its affiliates worldwide.

In 2005, Mr. Simmons joined USIS as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary, bringing 30 plus years of legal experience to the company. Before joining USIS, Mr. Simmons held senior legal counsel positions including General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for SEI, Inc., a technology company in Harrisonburg, Va., and Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Grove Worldwide LLC, a manufacturer of capital equipment in Shady Grove, Pa.

Mr. Simmons has a broad legal and general business background. He has distinguished himself in managing the General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, Human Resources and Business Development functions for public and private companies. His expertise includes Corporate Law and Governance, Business Litigation, Mergers and Acquisitions, Contracts and Employment Law.

Mr. Simmons earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Cum Laude, from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis. in 1972, and his Juris Doctorate in 1977.
