USIS a major player as security convergence picks up steam with agencies

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Jan. 23, 2008 – USIS, a leading global supplier of security solutions and services to the federal government, opened discussions at the second “Security Convergence Breakfast” held January 23 by the Coalition for Government Procurement in Washington D.C. USIS National Security Division (NSD) President Michael Fraser told the audience that “because the security threat and risk is all pervasive and multi-dimensional – from physical to personnel to information – a holistic perspective is required across the enterprise.”

Fraser welcomed the group and reintroduced them to the Security Convergence model he spoke about at the first Security Convergence meeting held last July. USIS provides its customers a Security Convergence model and roadmap that reduces gaps in security for commercial business and government agencies. As a national security solutions provider based in Falls Church, Va., USIS has aligned itself to be a strong player in the security convergence market as agencies look for ways to link all the pieces of their security processes and infrastructure.

USIS and the Coalition co-sponsored the breakfast event. At the meeting, Fraser acknowledged Rob Rhode of USIS, who is the new chairman of the Coalition’s security committee.
