USIS becomes an Altegrity company, launches new website and look

Falls Church, Va., August 10, 2009 – USIS, a leading provider of security training, screening, litigation support, and information management solutions to government customers, announced today that it is part of the Altegrity (www.altegrity.com) family of companies. The new Altegrity holding company was established in late July. As part of this announcement, USIS is also launching a new brand identity and logo as well as a new look on its website (www.usis.com).

USIS will continue to operate under the same name, simply adding a parent company endorsement line—USIS, an Altegrity company. The new USIS logo is made up of vertical panes, which suggest pages or screens of data that are uncovered and transformed through the company’s work and solutions. The motion of the panes illustrates a focus on bringing customers to a clear decision point. In all, the logo speaks to the power of transformation: USIS transforms data into information, information into insight. Additionally, the company recently named Chief William J. Bratton—Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department—to oversee its Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Security Solutions.
