USIS adds Peter Hatfield to its business development team

FALLS CHURCH, Va., August 3, 2009 – USIS, an Altegrity company, has named Peter Hatfield as Director, Business Development (BD). USIS is the largest commercial provider of security investigation services to the federal government and a provider of background screening services to the law enforcement community, including overseas support to post-conflict nations through the training of indigenous law enforcement personnel. Mr. Hatfield reports to Senior Director Business Development Fredd Snell and will be responsible for growing business in the National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Prior to USIS, Mr. Hatfield was intelligence community business development director at Intelligent Decisions in Ashburn, Va. From 1998 to 2007, he was vice president of Intel Sales for Northrop Grumman Information Technology—Computing Systems in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Mr. Hatfield earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics at Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont.
